Is the Sky Falling With Short Sales?
Here is a very recent conference call where two of my friends Shaun and J.P. discussed “Is the Sky Falling With Short Sale?”
The purpose of this call is to educate on what is REALLY HAPPENING in the market today with short sales.
This PART 1 of a 2 Part Call that was intended to be private, only for a small group of people. But frankly the stuff we discussed here is just too important to our industry and our community. So we’ve gone ahead and made the decision to give everyone a fair chance to hear it.

- a new resource for 1-day real estate loans, and
- a reported “investor friendly” title company that does business in all 50 states, and advertises their comfort with closing “short sale” deals.

We’re going through a *HUGE* change in the real estate market right now…
…And many from our own community have begun to express some serious concern about how these changes might be affecting real estate investors.

I listened to the call, excellent info on the current state of the short sale market.
The recording stopped before the end of the call. It stopped at the 45 minute
mark at the beginning of a question. What happened to the end of the call?
HI Cory Boatright this is John Reynolds you sent to me a email about is the sky falling i hope not but i did get to do this I listen to the tel web semiar i almost got done with it and were they was asking you a Qustion about simultaneous closing . I didn’t get the answer to the Qustion they was asking you because it cut off and try to down load it and it was the same way i didn’t the have answer so what is the answer to this are we going to be able to do simultaneous closing any more with out getting in to a Law suite with any one trying to do this??? please answer this MR Cory THank You Very Much Here is My greasytire@yahoo.com John.

I must be living under a rock when it comes to some known short sale investors. Who is Shaun and JP and what forum was this title company memo posted? I didn’t see it in the EasyHUD forum.

Very timely info. I have been doing simultaneous closings for years with a couple of title companies w/o any problems. All of a sudden (past 12 months) I can’t get any of these companies to work with me. Even the local company that touts itself as focusing on investor deals is requiring total disclosure as you discussed in your call. I have argued with the owner/attourney that disclosure to my buyers lender will kill my deals (no conventional lender I know of will approve a loan for a flip) and put me out of business. Please, if you have worked out an alternative workaround, share with us. I have been helping folks in foreclosure for years with reasonable success. If I don’t come up with a solution, the banks are going to be getting back more homes that they don’t want and my potential clients have no alternatives but to lose thier homes to foreclosure.
