Patlive Live Conference Call

Jan 2nd, 2008 | By cboatright | Category: Short Sale Audio

I just got off the phone with Jerry from Patlive. He is our direct Marketing Manager for our customized Short Sale Fundamentals program we have with them. Jerry and I are going to be having a conference call next week (see exact time below) where we will discuss the incredible benefits of using Patlive for your business.

I have used Patlive in my business for over 3 years. The service pays for itself 10 times over again from simply the amount of TIME YOU SAVE from using it. If you still use a cell phone to answer your leads and sort them out by YOU asking the questions, please make time for this call.

When I changed over to using Patlive my business exploded in ways unimaginable. I didn’t think that I could actually get more accomplished and serve more people using their service… but I WAS WRONG!

Take out a pen and jot down this information or take out your Palm, Treo, Blackberry, Mobile PDA and store this call information.

  1. Thank you in advance for commenting as it will greatly help to address the questions you have with using Patlive.

  2. I am a subscriber to Pat Live. I use the number if my direct marketing but I don’t get a very good response with using their service. I find that using the Arch Telecom 800# I was getting a better response.

  3. I just recently signed up for PatLive and I am a believer in automation (IT nut here) and anything that can eliminate my interaction or save time is a bonus.

But, prior to signing up: We knew that we would automate the phone system and scripts, but we wanted to get experience on how it feels to talk to motivated or non-motivated sellers. Plus, I got smart…I got my partner to answer the phone, not me! Now that we had that brief experience are making the jump.

I suspect that a lot of beginners look at the monthly cost but they probably do not calculate the cost of not answer the phone on a lead. If that lead does not get a hold of someone they probably go to the next person on the list. If you look at it as a business expense, the phone service with live receptionist is very inexpensive compared to hiring a real person to answer the phone. Think how much you spend on a regular phone? Do you know what it costs to have a business phone? How about your cell phone? I bet you spend more on Cable TV than you would with a service that could make or break a deal. Do not forget it is a business write off.

So in short: The cell phone was only the “we got to feel the pain before we make the change”. We have lost deals because of the cell phone due to not being able to answer and stop the “down the list calling” from the sellers. Some just do not return your call even if they left a message. Desperate sellers do strange things!

    Questions:
How are other investors utilizing Patlive to automate other aspects of their real estate business? Example: How are they using it to compliment their rentals, lease options, or selling house leads? How can we implement this directly into the Short Sale Live answering (I am sure I will find out soon as the setup process takes place).

Has PatLive thought about implementing backend process such as hosted emails, contacts, CRM, or other to interact with PatLive? And, of course, providing it inexpensive enough vs. other service providers who do not have the backend but not the answering service. I’m thinking PatLive imputing data into a “SuperSmart” website backend or other (PatLive’s own CRM website).

With a designer background, I always try to setup new ways that makes it very easy for the end user to interact and/or conduct business. For example, you have seen website with terrible design or interaction that made it harder for the end user to use. If it isn’t easy they will move on. Think how easy it was to use YouTube compared to others years ago? Myspace wasn’t pretty but it was easy. Something to think about. The generation after me seem to have shorter attention span and will be the next group of customers. Where was I going with this? Do not remember.

Does PatLive use overseas call centers? If so, how do we avoid thick accents answering the phone? That impression will affect any callers who may think our business is not local. You know what I am talking about. When I call for service I want to talk to someone I can understand. I do not let my own ethnicity affect my ability to be communicate with others, when in fact, I alter my accent for the locality. Asian looking man speaking like an Okie is strange (no one noticed unless I leave OKC).

How do we combine multiple numbers without incurring extra expenses? Can we have multiple local numbers going into the same account? For example: 1 800 phone # is for all business, 1 local phone # is for post rentals (management, emergencies, etc). A discount would have an incentive affect. I have talked with other landlords they do not want to pay to much for a phone number that isn’t always used (I have tried to convince some that they should automate and try PatLive or other). I would like to have multiple #’s without incurring $80 per line (some lines would rarely be used). So I guess the question, is there a multiple line discount?

Lastly: How do I participate in a reseller program? :)

  4. I am interested in using Patlive, but I haven’t signed up because of…?
I am currently using an affordable competitor.

The question I want you to ask Jerry (Patlive) is…?
How can you make your system more affordable for start up businesses with better incentives over your competition? Let me know when you get this done, I will switch immediately…

  5. Do you know of anyone that would offer a similar service in spanish. I am only approaching the spanish market, and patlive does not offer the service in spanish. Any idea?

    Thanks ….
